  "Recent visit of AJJBWF's delegation headed by its president Khalil Ahmed Khan to Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) in Kuwait has been a great success in the up lift of our sport in Asia. The President of OCA H.E. Shiekh Ahmed Al Fahad Al Sabah not only assured his full cooperation but also approved the peace project "Play for Peace" and offered a financial help of 30,000 US $ to AJJBWF. The sports of Belt wrestling and ju-jitsu under the AJJBWF will be placed in the 1st Asian Martial Arts Games 2008 at Bali-Indonesia under the decor of OCA. Our sports will then be placed in the next indoor games at Vietnam as demonstration sports. H.E. President OCA has also promised to grace the 2nd Asian Championship 2008 at Bishkek as Chief Guest during this meeting. The initiatives taken by our Asian President Mr. Khalil Ahmed Khan is really making our sports more popular in Asia. We hope that these two sports will be soon permanent features of our Asian Games in Asia." |
