IATWS has organized the 2nd Green Festival on Traditional Sports Games from June, 4-9,2008 at Mariupol-Ukraine. This Festival was a part of IATWS&UNESCO joint mission to promote the TSG and was included the CIGEPS working group meeting & Scientific Conference on TSG by UNESCO. The People of Mariupol also witnessed FUN RUN as part of PLAY FOR PEACE project by all the age groups (included children of 5 years and 85-90 years old), and Tree plantation of 230 & 50 trees as part of Environment program of IATWS which was followed by an impressive 3rd European Belt Wrestling Championship-2008. Men & women from 23 Countries participated in this championship and the winners were awarded with Medals & Trophies along with cash prizes. |
